Australasian Gannet (takapu)

Bellbird (korimako, makomako)

Black Billed Gull (tarapunga)

The Black Swan, an introduced bird, grow to almost 1.5m in length with a wingspan of almost 2m. They can be found in wetlands throughout New Zealand.

Blackbird (Manu Pango)

The Blackbird can be found in gardens throughout New Zealand. The male is all black with a yellow bill. Females and the young being dark brown in colour.
